Is my piece food safe?

Unless otherwise noted in the item description, every piece is food safe. I will never use a toxic glaze on a dish that is meant for food use, and if there is a product that could be used for food or display (bowl, tray etc) I will note it clearly in the item description.

What is the best way to care for my piece?

Although each piece is dishwasher safe, to ensure it lasts a lifetime we recommend handwashing. It's also not uncommon for silverware to leave marks on satin or matte finished glazes - if this happens to you, rubbing with a magic eraser or a small amount of Bar Keepers Friend usually does the trick. 

Can I use my piece in the microwave?

Yes! Ceramic is a great insulator!

How often will product be updated in the shop?

The best way to stay in touch with my upcoming sales is through my instagram, @mudsbymare! As a one woman shop, the creation process is slow and steady. I will never be a production artist - meaning I will always choose to make pieces that fulfill my creative side and usually that means only a few pieces at a time. That being said, I always hope to have 2-4 markets or online drops a year!

Do you do commissions?

At this time, I don't offer commissions, or take pre-orders.

My piece broke in transit, what now?

My worst fear realized! If this happens to you, please email me at mudsbymare@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the product with a photo of the broken piece and we can figure out the best solution. That being said, most pieces are one of one, so the best course of action will probably be refunding your money completely.
